Preschool Letter C Activities and Worksheets
A new day and that means a new letter set. Today I have a set of letter c activities and worksheets, suitable for preschoolers. I have compiled nine letter c activities into a downloadable alphabet workbook. You can use these activities and worksheets to help your children:
Learn things that begin with letter c (e.g. c for cap, castle, cow, crab, cupcake, car, etc.)
Recognise upper and lowercase letter c
Practice tracing and writing letter c
Identify letter c sound
The activities included in this workbook are:

Letter C Poster
This poster is great for introducing the letter Cc. The items included are cap, castle, cow, crab, cupcake, carrot, car, cat and cookie. Children can learn the different items that begin with letter c and have a go at tracing the lowercase c too. You can use this poster as a guide for various hands on activities such as creating alphabet box filled with items mentioned above, baking cupcake or cookie with your children, playing with toy cars, read the book
The Carrot Seed by Ruth Krauss, creating some letter c crafts and many more!
Spot and Dot the Letter Activity
This activity helps your children recognise upper and lowercase letter c. They have to find both the upper and lower case letter and dot or color them.
I love using these dot markers and the kids enjoy using it more than just plain coloring.
Letter C Maze
Trace through the maze to find the way out! Another fun activity for letter recognition. If you want to reuse the activity sheet, you can laminate it and use washable marker to trace along the maze.
Letter C Sound Worksheets
I created two variations of beginning sound worksheets for you to choose from. They are straight forwards activities where your children have to identify items that begin with letter c.
Letter C Tracing Worksheets
There are 4 different tracing worksheets to choose from with the options of tracing with lines or free form tracing with box. What more special is that I created my own tracing fonts because I could not find one that I like. These worksheets are not filled with tons and tons of tracing to do because I find that children get so bored and tired when there are too much to trace. However, if your child is older and you would prefer a more intense tracing activities, check out my alphabet tracing workbook.
